Temporary AZ Service Embargo

Temporary AZ Service Embargo

Dear Valued Customer,

We want to provide an update on the service challenges we are currently experiencing at our Phoenix, AZ terminal and ask for your support as we work through it.

The recent departure of MTVE from the industry, coupled with unforeseen staffing challenges, has resulted in a significant freight backlog at our Phoenix terminal. This falls well short of the standards we set for ourselves and the level of service you expect from Oak Harbor Freight Lines. Bringing peace of mind is central to who we are, and right now we are not meeting that commitment in this region. Our teams are working around the clock to clear the backlog and restore normal service levels as quickly as possible.

To accelerate this recovery, we are asking customers to temporarily route freight destined for the Phoenix market through alternative carriers for the next two weeks, effective immediately. If you have questions, please contact your local or National Account Manager for updates and guidance. We recognize this may be inconvenient, but this temporary pause will help us reduce the backlog faster and return to the reliable service you depend on.

For freight already in our network, we are processing shipments systematically and as efficiently as possible. At this time, we are unable to pull individual shipments from specific trailers, as doing so would create additional delays and slow overall recovery efforts. Our focus remains on restoring the service levels we all expect from Oak Harbor.

Once the backlog is cleared and our Phoenix operations are ready to support normal service levels, we will send an "all clear" notification and welcome you to resume normal shipping activity into the Arizona market.

Thank you for your patience and partnership as we work through this challenge.
