Somewhere along the way, this became normal…
Verifying that the pickup actually happened.
Checking the tracking the next morning because it still hasn’t been updated.
Adding an extra day before telling your customer when to expect it, just in case.
Getting the “Any update on this?” email and going back to check again.
Rearranging receiving when the ETA changes.
Explaining the delay to your customer who was counting on that shipment.
Hunting down photos and paperwork.
Then getting the invoice and seeing the final cost isn’t what you expected.
And tomorrow, you do it all over again.
When you deal with freight every day, none of this feels particularly unusual.
The extra checks.
The extra emails.
The extra buffer.
The extra explanations.
How much of your day is spent managing freight… and how much is spent managing your carrier?
