IM-PURR-FECT LUCK: Answer
|
|
The superstition dates back centuries to medieval Europe, when black cats became associated with witchcraft and were sometimes believed to be witches in disguise. However, not every culture considers black cats unlucky! In Scotland, a black cat appearing at your doorstep is traditionally considered a sign of prosperity, while Japanese folklore often associates black cats with good fortune.
