URGENT – Hawaii Tsunami Warning | Source Alliance Network

A powerful 8.7 magnitude earthquake occurred this afternoon off the coast of Russia at 1:25pm triggering Tsunami warnings for all Hawaiian Islands and coastal Asia. Emergency management is notifying all Hawaii residents to take shelter in higher ground effective immediately. Tsunami tidal surges to hit the islands by 7:17pm HST this evening.

All Honolulu Freight Service and Xpress Trucking personnel are being sent home, and the facilities are being closed effective immediately. All freight will be secured as safely as possible and operations will resume as available.
