Jacksonville falls off the wagon

SONAR Key Market Insights: Jacksonville, Florida
|
Jacksonville, Florida, has seen capacity loosen as both outbound tender rejections and outbound tender volumes fall. The OTRI dropped minimally, 0.46% week over week.
Outbound tender volumes have dropped more significantly than rejection, with a 6% drop w/w, which has been the leading cause of more available capacity.
Spot rates leave a lot to be desired for carriers in Jacksonville, as rejections continue to fall in line with the national average of 5.01%. Shippers, on the other hand, can take advantage of the stronger contract carrier compliance.

“After 18 years driving, I’ve watched every industry problem get blamed on drivers while companies profit from our unpaid labor. Late delivery? Driver’s fault. Detention time? Driver’s problem. No parking? Driver’s violation. Corporate inefficiency? Driver pays for it.”
