Detroit has come into the number one spot in the U.S. in regards to market share. Contributing to the number one spot is the stability of outbound tender volumes and outbound tender rejections increasing less than 1% week over week.
Shippers with freight coming out of Detroit can expect almost perfect contract carrier compliance, as the Outbound Tender Rejection Index is at 1.66%, a third of the national average of 5.67%.
The stability in Detroit seems to be staying as there is little deviation in rejections or volume month over month. For the number one spot, there is a stability that the other top markets can’t seem to maintain.
