Green Bay, Wisconsin, has outbound tender rejections still elevated but has lost the top spots to three markets in Iowa for the highest rejection rates in the U.S.
There is a bit of a capacity crunch in Green Bay as rejection rates rise 21 basis points week over week for an OTRI of 19.3%, while outbound tender volumes fall 24.83% w/w.
Following a holiday week tender rejection levels are usually elevated as carriers work to clear up any missed freight from the week before, but in the case of Green Bay, it has been consistently elevated even before the Holiday. It’s likely spot rates are no worse than they were before Thanksgiving, but still remain elevated compared to the National Average.
