Chinese companies operate our port terminals, manufacture our cranes, track our military cargo, and own farmland next to our air bases. So why isn’t anyone asking who’s actually driving the trucks hauling DOD freight?

SONAR Key Market Insights – Dallas
|
Capacity is starting to loosen in Dallas as outbound tender rejections stay relatively stable week over week. Less than one percent change settles the OTRI in at 10.24% right in line with the national average of 9.64%.
Heavily contributing to the loosening capacity is the reduction in outbound tender volumes, dropping 1.19% week over week.
This is a trend happening in just about every freight market across the country. Outbound tender volumes are down and rejections are holding stable, if not increasing in the smaller markets. Over the next few weeks, there will be more volatility in spot rates, making the need to add some cushion in those rates more prevalent.
