Oklahoma feels the pressure of a storm

SONAR Key Market Insights – Oklahoma City
|
Capacity will be tight heading into the weekend in Oklahoma City as the South prepares for a snow and ice storm to stretch from Texas to North Carolina.
Outbound tender rejections have risen 1.75% week over week, to 11.1% and will continue to rise as carriers look to avoid the southern markets until the ice melts next week.
Not fully onboard with the ice delay are outbound tender volumes, as those are up 3.28% w/w. Shippers should expect delays in freight getting delivered towards the end of the week as the storm is supposed to gear up on Friday afternoon.
