Carrier Network Update: Estes New Terminal Announcement – Omaha 518
We want to share an update from one of our core LTL carrier partners, Estes Express Lines, regarding an expansion within their terminal network.
Estes has officially announced the opening of a new terminal in Omaha, Nebraska (Terminal 518), which opened on January 26, 2026. The facility is strategically located near major interstate corridors, including I-80, I-480, and I-680.
This expansion is expected to support improved linehaul efficiency and strengthened Midwest and Central Plains service coverage, particularly across key east–west and north–south lanes tied to the I-80 corridor.
SAN will continue monitoring carrier network changes and evaluating any potential impacts or opportunities related to service, transit times, and lane coverage. Customers shipping in or out of the Omaha market, or utilizing Estes across Midwest lanes, may see long-term benefits as the carrier continues to invest in network capacity.
