U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) has issued CSMS # 67834313 providing guidance on ending the International Emergency Economic Powers Act (IEEPA) Tariff collection.
The IEEPA duties will no longer be collected for goods entered for consumption or withdrawn from warehouse for consumption on or after 12:00 a.m. eastern time on February 24, 2026.
The Executive Order, “Ending Certain Tariff Actions” terminates the IEEPA duties only and does not affect other duties under section 232 nor section 301.
Importers may wish to consider holding shipments until Tuesday.
