Looks like some mistakes were made over at TQL, that resulted in overpayment of bonuses for commission. Twenty percent was what the payout was supposed to be, but 25% was paidout instead. They are polietly asking for their employees to return it. Whoops.
In more promising news the spread between dry van truckload spot rates and contract rates shrank at its fastest pace since the onset of COVID this past December. Spot rates are now rising relative to contract rates and becoming increasingly responsive. Carriers are primed and ready to have more success in the spot market outside of razor thin margins and barely operating at profitability.
