President Trump announced earlier today, that he will move forward with implementing a 10% global tariff under Section 122, following this morning’s U.S. Supreme Court decision striking down IEEPA-based tariffs. The existing Section 232 and Section 301 tariffs will remain in effect.
The trade community awaits updated guidance on when IEEPA filings will cease, and when any new tariffs will become applicable.
