Savannah lightens its load

SONAR Key Market Insights – Savannah, Georgia
|
Capacity remains moderately tight in Savannah, Georgia, as outbound tender rejections fall 1.57% week over week to 8.76% for the market.
Contributing to the moderately tight capacity is increasing outbound tender volumes, which have risen 1.89% w/w and 6% month over month.
With the OTRI dropping at almost the same rate that the OTVI is increasing, capacity should be returning to the market and spot rates should be trending downwards through the weekend until next week when it tightens again for Thanksgiving.

“UPS MD-11 aircraft will not return to service until each one has passed an FAA-approved inspection process, and any necessary corrective actions are completed. We will take the time needed to ensure that every aircraft is safe. There is no rush to return the fleet to service.”
