The past week saw Memphis outbound tender rejection rates gain 263 basis points, climbing to 9.24%. Compared to last year, that is 422 basis points higher.

The tightening came from higher outbound tender volumes, which rose 4.43% week over week. However, compared to last month, they are down 3.86%.

According to SONAR Key Market Insights, the Memphis market is skewed heavily toward outbound freight. Out of 135 Key Market Areas, Memphis ranks 20th in outbound and 27th in inbound.
