One lawsuit. Big industry implications.

The Montgomery case isn’t over yet.

Following the Supreme Court’s decision earlier this year, the lawsuit is now expected to return to the Illinois district court, where the negligent hiring claims against C.H. Robinson can move forward. The latest development is largely procedural, but the case continues to influence how the freight industry thinks about carrier selection, liability, and risk management.

That raises an interesting question:

What do you think will be the biggest long-term impact of the Montgomery decision?

We’ve posted a quick community poll, and we’d love to hear your perspective.
