Please be advised that the tariff rate quotas (TRQs) for steel goods administered under the Amended Surtax Order will transition to the fourth quarter on March 26, 2026.
As set out in the Notice to importers: Item 82 – Steel goods – Serial No. 1160, shipment specific import permit applications may be submitted up to 15 days in advance of the expected date of entry.
The product scope and quota volumes for the fourth quarter remain unchanged from those of the third quarter and continue to reflect the list of goods under column 4 and the levels set out in column 2 of Schedule 1 and Schedule 2 of the Second Amending Surtax Order.
Importers are encouraged to ensure that permit applications are submitted in accordance with the procedures outlined in Notice to importers No. 1160.
