Congratulations to Lesley Veldstra Killingsworth for being named a 2026 Top Woman to Watch in Trucking!
We are proud to announce our Vice President of Pricing and Market Strategy, Lesley Veldstra Killingsworth, has been selected as a 2026 Top Woman to Watch in Trucking. She is one of 75 women recognized by Redefining the Road, the official magazine of the Women In Trucking Association (WIT).
WIT President and CEO, Jennifer Hedrick states, “Women such as Lesley are being honoured not only for their professional achievements but for the meaningful impact they have on their organizations and the industry as a whole. This year’s selections reflect the strength, leadership and vision shaping the future of trucking.”
Lesley has dedicated over 20 years to the supply chain industry, developing value-driven rate and pricing structures for reputable carriers and 3PL providers. In 2023, she made history as the first Chairwoman on the National Motor Freight Traffic Association (NMFTA) Board of Directors and is frequently sought after for contributing to industry discussions – highlighting her growing influence as a leader in transportation.
Since joining Polaris in 2016, Lesley has been a driving force behind our growth. After advancing from Director of Traffic and Pricing to her current VP role in 2024, she has spearheaded initiatives focused on service efficiency, enhanced communications and market share expansion. Based in California, she has been instrumental in strengthening our cross border LTL presence throughout Canada and the USA.
Lesley comments, “This recognition is incredibly meaningful because it represents the progress our industry continues to make, not just in advancing women but in building stronger, more inclusive leadership across transportation and logistics.” She continues, “Thank you to the Women In Trucking Association for this honour and to everyone working to create a more diverse and forward-thinking future for trucking.”
Lesley’s positive impact reaches far beyond her professional role. As a mentor for the Larry Cox Academy, she guides employees seeking to accelerate their career paths. Her commitment to service also extends to our outreach efforts, where she works closely with organizations providing essential support and resources to women in need.
Polaris CEO, Dave Cox, states, “Lesley is an exemplary leader whose drive and expertise continue to inspire meaningful change across our operations, community and industry. Congratulations, Lesley, and thank you for your outstanding commitment to raising the bar.”
