The Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) has resolved the systems issues that were impacting the processing of EDI and eManifest portal messages. However, a significant backlog remains that the CBSA has advised they are working to clear.
While delays are being reported at most border crossings, the Buffalo, NY area commercial bridges — specifically the Peace Bridge (Buffalo–Fort Erie) and the Lewiston–Queenston Bridge — are experiencing significant congestion. Customers with shipments moving into Canada through these crossings should expect service impacts until the situation improves.

Please be advised that the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) has been experiencing delays in processing both EDI and eManifest portal messages. At this time, CBSA has not provided a timeline for resolution.
Most border crossings are experiencing only minor delays; however, the Lewiston-Queenston crossing is facing significant processing issues. As a result, customers may experience service impacts on shipments moving into Canada through this location.
