Hi Armani,
Once a month I write to the people we work with — and the people we’d like to — about what we’re seeing in this industry and what we’ve been building. No pitch deck, just updates on trends, what works and what doesn’t.
Here’s what’s on my mind this month.
Buyers have stopped searching and started asking. When a VP of transportation needs a new TMS or a 3PL partner, an increasing share of that first pass now happens inside an AI assistant, not a search bar. Which means the question isn’t only "do we rank" anymore — it’s "when a model is asked who the credible players are in our category, does our name come out of it?" That’s a different discipline, and it’s built on the same thing earned media has always been built on: being cited, quoted, and referenced in places machines and humans both trust.
We’ve spent the last quarter turning that into a repeatable practice. Every client program we run now includes answer- and generative-engine optimization alongside traditional media relations — structured, measurable, and reported. If you’d like to see how your brand currently surfaces, I’m happy to run a quick check and send it over. No strings.

We’re currently supporting two go-to-market launches: one helping an established logistics technology provider introduce a new product, and another helping a proven technology company enter the supply chain market with a clear positioning strategy.
-
Organic social is still one of the strongest long-term growth levers. One client’s LinkedIn audience grew from 12K to 15K+ followers, with monthly impressions nearly doubling over the past 18 months.
-
We’re seeing executive thought leadership become a genuine commercial asset. A recent C-suite profiling program we’ve been running consistently reached more than 11,000 senior decision-makers across key logistics markets while strengthening both brand visibility and employee advocacy.
-
Our ad hoc media opportunities continue to create outsized impact. A recent executive interview in a tier-one supply chain publication helped shift industry perception around a client’s positioning—from point solution to a strategic platform.
-
Research continues to be one of the strongest marketing assets we see. This year, two flagship industry studies done for our clients generated 240+ responses from supply chain professionals and became the foundation for media coverage, thought leadership, events and sales conversations.
-
One global freight and logistics client secured 12 media placements in a single month by combining proprietary market intelligence with expert commentary—turning original data into news the industry wanted to cover.
-
A yard and dock technology client’s research campaign uncovered that 40% of operations still rely on manual processes, creating a compelling industry narrative that drove editorial coverage, speaking opportunities and year-round commercial conversations.
-
We refined our email strategy this year, growing our engaged subscriber base by 43% while maintaining a 99.8% delivery rate and average open rates above industry benchmarks.

As the commercial partner for ASCM’s CHAINge 2026 in Long Beach, September 29–30, my team is helping organisations maximize value from their participation – to showcase their tech, position their leadership as frontrunners, educate peers and build a relationship with the 400k large community that ASCM has built over 70 years. Think you belong here? Happy to chat through available options – but here’s my advice if you’re considering it – run, don’t walk.
That’s it from me. If any of this is useful — or if you just want to think out loud about a launch, a repositioning, or a quiet quarter you’d like to make louder — my inbox is open and my calendar’s easier to get on than it looks.
Warmly,
