There’s more to carrier performance than what shows up on a scorecard.
Rate.
Transit time.
On-time performance.
Claims.
All important.
So is the number of times your team had to check on a shipment.
The emails it took to get an answer.
The extra time built into the schedule because you weren’t sure.
The invoice that needed to be investigated.
Those things may not show up on a carrier scorecard…
But they show up in your day.
A shipment can arrive on time and still take way too much work to get there.
If it takes five emails and two phone calls to get an “on-time” delivery, the scorecard is missing something.
Maybe it’s time to measure how much work it takes to get that result.
Good carrier performance shouldn’t just look good on paper.
You should feel the difference in your day.
