Canada to Impose Retaliatory Tariffs on US Imports

Based on what has been publicly announced so far, Canada intends to apply retaliatory tariffs beginning September 8, 2026 on selected U.S. imports.  

Although the detailed tariff schedule has not yet been released, the impacted sectors have been identified below:

  • Steel 
  • Electronics 
  • Agricultural Equipment 
  • Appliances 
  • Pulp & Paper 
  • Dairy Products
