Houston rejections pop for longer haul loads
|
SONAR Key Market Insights: Houston
|
Houston’s outbound tender rejection rate jumped from 5.24% to over 8% in the past week—the most significant weekly increase among all 135 markets.
Tender volumes are down more than 8% year-over-year, indicating that demand is not the primary driver of the spike in rejection rates.
Long-haul loads appear to be the most difficult to cover, with rates to Salt Lake City and Los Angeles showing the largest increases over the past four days.

“You have to do all this by saying, ‘what is my problem?’” You’re not just bringing a digital twin for the sake of saying, ‘let me create a digital twin here’. You build it to solve this and these problems. You have to declare what your problems are first, so then you can actually measure them.”
