All imports of semi-finished copper products and intensive copper derivative products shall be subject to a 50% tariff, effective August 1, 2025. Within 90 days, the Secretary shall establish a process to include additional derivative copper articles within scope of the proclamation. For derivatives, only the copper content of the good will be subject to 50% tariff, while the non-copper value of the goods will be subject to the most favored nation (MFN) rate, as well duties under IEEPA reciprocal and IEEPA fentanyl.
