Now that we’re deep in the trenches of Q4. It seems that the freight market may be beginning to show signs of recovery. As mentioned in the State of Freight live at F3, Craig Fuller says, "The groundwork is being laid for that strengthening to continue. What I do know is that we continue to lose capacity, and when we lose operating authorities out of the market, that is when you could be on the cusp of a trucking super cycle."
It does seem that intermodal is taking a sizable amount of truckload volumes, which isn’t ideal for the spot market as that demand is leaving the market. Catch the rest of the freight market roundup here.
