Two weeks into the new year and it appears to be just as chaotic and full of uncertainty as 2025.
More uncertain tariff threats and the ever looming threat of geopolitical disturbances has made the beginning of the year feel a little like Groundhog Day, which is actually only two and a half weeks away.
The one bright spot in all the possible upheavals for the international market is that the domestic freight market here in the U.S. seems to be stabling and rebounding from the lows of 2025. Outbound tender rejections have remained elevated coming back from the holidays and warehousing is starting to see some space on the shelves. A rarity since the pandemic-era inventory boom.
