Dear Valued Customer,
Matson Navigation Company (“Matson”) has advised us that, due to berth congestion at the Port of Guam and the port’s closure for approaching Super Typhoon Champi, the Daniel K. Inouye 102W was unable to make its scheduled port call and has bypassed Guam.
Matson is working to minimize further disruptions, and we expect an update by tomorrow regarding their discharge plans for the Guam cargo on this vessel. We will share this information with you as soon as we receive it.
Next Arrival The Matsonia 077W, which sailed out of Long Beach on October 7th, is currently expected to arrive on time at the Port of Guam on Tuesday, October 20, subject to port conditions and berth availability. We will continue to monitor the situation closely and keep you updated.
If you have any questions, please contact your local office or reach our Customer Service Center at 800-488-4888, Ext. 2020, or via email at custserv@dhx.com.
Thank you for your patience and continued confidence. David Bartelt Executive Vice President, Sales & Customer Experience
