Annual adjustments help to offset inflationary costs for ocean and terminal service and support the continued investment in Hawaii based services including the Fleet Modernization Program, Honolulu Terminal Modernization, Sustainability Initiatives, Equipment and Technology. In consideration of increasing island trucking and inter-island transportation costs, Hawaii delivery and inter-island rates will also be increasing effective January 4, 2026.
Wharfage and Facility Security fees are expected to increase in July of 2026 and once the State of Hawaii makes these announcements we will share these updates.
In response to these adjustments, Honolulu Freight Service will pass through the steamship increases for full container load (FCL) ocean rates for westbound & eastbound, respectively. FCL and LCL adjustments will be a direct pass through of ocean & island price increases presented to the industry.
