POSSIBLE STRIKE AT PORTS OF LOS ANGELES AND LONG BEACH

A potential strike by port watchmen at the Ports of Los Angeles and Long Beach may begin Sunday at 5 p.m. if an agreement is not reached with the Pacific Maritime Association. A strike could worsen existing congestion, cause additional delays, and lead carriers to divert vessels or discharge cargo at other West Coast ports.

Willson clients with shipments in transit or awaiting loading for either port should contact their logistics consultants to discuss alternative strategies and prepare for potential supply chain disruptions.

Willson International will continue to provide updates as more information becomes available.
