UPS will raise its daily rates for Ground, Air, and International services by an average of 5.9% on December 21, 2026. It is the fourth year in a row the carrier has landed on that number, and once again it matches the FedEx headline exactly.
The headline is the least revealing part of the announcement. Inside the rate tables, UPS held its heavier packages and most of its air services below the average, then recovered the difference somewhere else: in the lightest weight breaks on every domestic service, in minimum charges, and in an accessorial table moving close to 9%.
