FarEye launched PILOT, an agentic AI dispatcher built to automate last-mile delivery planning, execution and monitoring with minimal human oversight, as the segment consumes an outsized 40% of total supply chain costs.
Co-founder Gaurav Srivastava says dispatchers are often left firefighting rather than optimizing routes, and early testing at retailers like Tractor Supply points to dispatcher productivity gains of up to five times as online orders keep growing three to five times faster than in-store sales.

Autonomy · Earnings
Einride posted its first earnings as a Nasdaq-listed company, with first-half revenue up 26% year-over-year to $27 million and guidance for 60-73% growth in the back half. The Swedish autonomous freight company also struck a deal to deploy 500 Tesla Semi trucks on its Saga platform — nearly tripling its fleet to roughly 750 — and is integrating its autonomy stack into DAF’s electric trucks, targeting 1,500-2,000 trucks and cash-flow breakeven by 2028.

Logistics Software · Regulatory
Australia’s competition regulator executed a search warrant at WiseTech Global, the CargoWise parent that serves more than 20,000 logistics companies across 193 countries, seeking records tied to a Competition and Consumer Act investigation. The news knocked WiseTech shares down 8.7% and follows last year’s forced divestiture of its Expedient platform after the ACCC’s review of the e2open deal.

Fleet Fuel · Sustainability
Chevron principal biofuels scientist Dave Slade lays out how fleets can hedge against betting on a single fuel by blending diesel, renewable diesel, biodiesel and CNG/RNG — provided operators watch fuel quality to avoid filter and cold-weather issues. The piece points to Chevron’s X15N demo program, which lets qualifying Class 8 fleets test a Cummins-powered natural gas truck for up to 18 days at no cost.
