We are issuing updated versions of the below advisories originally shared on March 27, 2026. These updates reflect recent adjustments across our inland and intermodal products.
For the advisory titled “Canada Inland Fuel Surcharge” sent on Friday, March 27, 2026, which referenced an Intermodal Multi Carrier Fuel Index (MCI) fee, we are simplifying the charge applicability. The updated intermodal fuel surcharge for container yard and inland rail transportation can be found here. The effective dates for non-FMC shipments are based on a Price Calculation Date (PCD) on or after April 10 . For FMC shipments, the effective date is based on a PCD on or after April 18 and the advisory referencing this information can be found here.
For the advisory titled “Canada Ground Freight Fuel Fee” sent on Friday, March 27, 2026, the effective dates for non-FMC shipments are based on a PCD on or after April 10. For FMC shipments, the effective date is based on a PCD on or after April 18. The advisory can be found here. For the advisory titled “United States Inland Fuel Surcharge” sent on Friday, March 27, 2026, the effective date is based on a Price Calculation Date (PCD) of April 18 or later.
