SONAR Key Market Insights: Green Bay, Wisconsin
|
Green Bay, Wisconsin, continues to be a market with tight capacity as outbound tender rejections continually exceed 10%, consistently. The OTRI right now is at 15.65%, a 4.72% increase week over week.
Not helping the capacity constraints is the dropping outbound tender volumes, down 9.64% w/w.
Dropping demand in the market and increasing rejections make for great market conditions for carriers booking to take advantage of the spot market but not as ideal conditions for shippers booking for routing guide compliance and favorable pricing strategies.

“As the economy is likely to absorb the effects of tariffs over the next several months, our freight demand outlook remains cautious. But the silver lining of lower [commercial] vehicle production and lost manufacturing jobs is that tighter capacity will likely drive freight back to the for-hire market next year.”
