The letter to the Prime Minister expresses not only concerns about fentanyl but also trade deficits and barriers which are the basis for reciprocal tariffs on other countries.
On July 11, President Trump appeared to leave open the possibility that USMCA goods will remain exempt from a higher 35% tariff on Canada that he announced on July 10.
