Twelve months of planning CHAINge came down to 48 fast hours in Long Beach last week, and watching the supply chain community pack rooms and stay late to talk shop was worth every effort. Organising events has always been my jam, and I truly believe a well-planned event curated with valuable industry insights, business opportunities and, overall, empathy, has tremendous potential to build relationships and is the starting point for those career-spanning, long-term relationships.
Here’s a quick dispatch on what went down, a major new partnership on our end, and an all-around campaign we loved building this month:
Wrapping up CHAINge & Pesti’s Marketing Mixer
Beyond the main stage sessions and the high energy tech showcase, a massive highlight was hosting our Media & Marketing Mixer on September 29. We brought together marketing and comms leaders across supply chain tech for candid, unfiltered discussions on brand positioning and how to actually earn buyer attention when everyone is shouting the same buzzwords. Nathan Chaney and Timothy Dooner joined us to challenge conventional marketing playbooks and share what’s working on the ground. We shared a few moments from the room over on LinkedIn.
Behind the curtain on AI (Pesti Townhall, Oct 13)
We’ve spent the last few months elbow-deep in AI tools, trying to separate what’s genuinely useful from pure noise. The honest takeaway? Speed is easy. Credibility is hard. Most teams are using AI like everyone else, and half of what worked two months ago doesn’t work today. Rather than publishing another think-piece, we’re getting people into a virtual room on October 13 at 2:00 PM ET. No slide decks, no buzzwords, just a candid conversation about what’s working, what to avoid, and how supply chain marketers can make their day-to-day easier with this tech. If you want to think out loud with us, grab a spot here.
A Big Agency Win: We’re Exclusively Representing Timothy Dooner!
Pesti Group is now officially the exclusive agency representing Timothy Dooner. If you’re in logistics and transportation, you already know him. Nobody commands space or cuts through sterile corporate scripts quite like Dooner. For our clients, this partnership changes the game: we’ll be collaborating directly with him to bring authentic customer stories to the right decision-makers through candid, high-energy audio, live broadcasts, and media formats that B2B buyers actually tune into instead of tuning out. All this, as part of strategic ABM/GTM activations. You can read the full announcement here.
Campaign We Loved Building: C3 Solutions’ RFP Guide
Procuring yard and dock management tech is notoriously painful. Buying committees often pull generic procurement templates off the internet or get handed 50-page vendor feature matrices that don’t solve real operational bottlenecks. C3 Solutions tackled this head-on with a high-utility asset designed to help operations leaders evaluate platforms on what actually matters at the dock. We had a blast shaping the end-to-end positioning and campaign roll-out around it; a textbook example of building credibility by solving a genuine buyer pain point rather than pushing a hard sell. If you’re evaluating yard tech, take a look: The Definitive RFP Guide for Yard & Dock Software Acquisition.
That’s the October recap from our corner. If you’re mapping out Q4 campaigns, rethinking your market positioning for 2027, or want to bounce around ideas for leveraging Dooner for your brand narrative, my inbox is open.
Warmly,
Priyanka Ann Saini
